We are pleased to give back by supporting a variety of charitable and non-profit groups dedicated to enriching the lives of Canadians in the communities where we do business.

Kids Help Phone: MaxWell’s Charity of Choice
Our REALTORS® pride themselves on supporting their communities by donating their time, energy, expertise and money to countless community events, block parties, charities, school & sports fund raisers, kids camps and Church functions. Our motto is: We make our living in the community… we give back to the community.

Share Your Bear program:  is a joint effort with Kids Help Phone, Girl Guides of Canada, the Calgary Police Victims unit and MaxWell Realty.

Throughout the year MaxWell offices collect new and gently-loved teddy bears which Kids Help Phone picks up and with the help of the Girl Guides, clean and tag.  

Once a year, the bears are presented to the Calgary Police Service Victim Assistance Unit, who share them with children and youth who have been a witness or a victim of crime or tragedy. On average well over 2500 bears are donated each year.

Alberta's Promise:  was founded on the belief that all young people should have the opportunity to realize their full potential. To create these opportunities, Alberta’s Promise works to inspire Albertans to direct more resources toward benefiting our children and youth.

As a Promise Builder since March 2004, MaxWell supports a variety of children and youth initiatives. MaxWell provides financial support and volunteer efforts to a number of charities and programs and often donates the MaxWell Tent to these charities.

Max the Dog  : Our corporate mascot “Max the Dog” has one role... to put smiles on children’s faces where ever he goes. Max has a special way of seeing things, he spends his life helping and caring for all living things. Max performs in the communities we serve every day, at school sport days, charity events and anywhere children gather for fun times.

In the spirit of Children and Community, MaxWell Realty has created a Kids Activity Kit (colouring book, Activity worksheet and crayons featuring Max the Dog.)  All net proceeds go to our charity of choice, Kids Help Phone.
